I use the news module both in displaying news on our frontpage, but also as an articlemodule on another page.
on our frontpage is dont want the search-link to appear, but on the other instance i want it displayed.

Can the search function be made as a checkbox in admin-options, the same way as Enable Syndication?
That would be great...

Sincerely Uffe/Gaynord

You can actually get rid of the whole top section (as of a new release):-

You could make up 2 templates, one for the frontpage with the relevant sections in menu.item.html commented out, and a different one for the other page.
