I have started reviewing the Property Agent Module.  All looks good so far.  Is there a way so that a user (say a Real Estate Agent or someone selling a car) can log in and manage/edit just their own ads?  It seems permissions are Roles based rather than User based which implies you can edit the ads of all people within your role.  Is this the case?  I have searched the forums and documentation without immediate success.  Appologies if this is already a topic.

Users will only able to see or edit his/her own properties in the "property manager" page.

The role is to set whether the user has the role permission to access to some of the functions like customfields and property manager page.

Thanks,

George

George, thanks for the prompt reply. You are right, I found the Real Estate template behaves correctly regarding editing permissions being linked to the username but the Cars template this did not (as luck wouyld have it, this was the first one I tried). It could be the way I configured it, but the module appeared to allow anyone in a role to be able to edit all ads. In the Real Estate template all is OK - it behaves exactly as I expected it should. So I will use this template as the basis for further testing.

Cheers,

Peter
