Am I correct, in assuming, that sample templates are still in the development stage?

I was working with the Salaro-Crystal skins and noticed that the single line break was not adequate to seperate the title from the author name and create time.

Will the use of templates allow you to place title in a table row and create another table row for author and createtime? This way you could apply padding to the CSS.

TIA

Yes, you can customise the template in anyway you like, adding table rows etc, any html. The process is very similar to portal skinning so you should be able to get some very interesting layouts.

Will the templates be creatable, and editable, within the module?

Not at first, you'll have to create them in a text editor.

Scott,

Is there documentation on template creation and how to attach it to the article template dropdown box?

I'm working on creating the documentation. To attach it to the dropdown list, just create a folder under Templates in the module directory (\DesktopModules\DnnForge - NewsArticles\Templates\MyTemplate)
