As you remember I like xhtml compliant pages. I had most of my pages xhtml compliant several months ago including my Blog and Aging Safely's home page. Both have News Article 4.41 modules.
I decided to re-test several pages again after 9 months on in-attention to css and xhtml compliance.
I also use PageBlaster V3. which concatinates css files and minifies javascript. The Blog page has exceptions for all of the above actions while the home page doesn't. The Blog pages also uses the "Standard templates" right out of the box. Both seem to get the same types of errors.
CSS Validation:
- File not found: http://www.agingsafely.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge - NewsArticles/module.css: Bad Request
- File not found: http://www.agingsafely.com/DesktopModules/DnnForge - NewsArticles/Templates/Standard/Template.css: Bad Request
Note: both files are located in the directories.
XHTML Validation:
- There are several target = "" references in links that it is complaining about
.
- There is also a autocomplete = "off" but that isn't coming from News Articles it is coming from DNN because I have all PageBlaster rules for this page disabled at the moment.
Any suggestions on the CSS issues? Can you please fix the target ="" error in an upcoming release?
Regards,
Dave Snow
