Before anyone says it I know there are modules that go some way to fulfilling the above role already for DNN but they are for the most part naff and not really hitting the nail on the head (first hand knowledge as i have bought most of them).
The concept - customer logs in, can navigate to a support area, wants to ask or raise a query/support ticket to one of several category's available, selects category and then types query into a separate text box, option for attachments would be cool but not essential, hits the submit button and away she goes.
Email to admin and to customer confirming ticket etc
Customer interface to allow them to see status and update/reply if needed.
Admin interface to update/respond to customer.
This could be built on with pretty graphs etc etc

Its possible to use a session variable to pass user details to this program - don't ask me how i have no idea.
Its a winner if you ask me
