I've posted a new build for Simple Gallery in the downloads section (members only).

New Functionality Includes:-

• You can now disable the internal search functionality via Settings -> Gallery Settings -> Advanced Settings. 
• The "Edit Templates" option is now available to roles with edit access on the module. (note: templates work differently to other modules as they are tied to a specific module instance)

Fixed Bugs Include:-

• You can now use images with # symbols.
• The album synchronisation has some issues fixed and now has an option to remove images in the database first.
