Actually, this might work well. If you look at photo management in facebook for example, I might upload four photos to my albums (I can create new albums and only see "my" albums) Let's say in three of those photos there are pictures of people and you are in those photos. Using the "tagging" feature in FB I can highlight you in the photo and select from a list of friends to "tag" the photo to you "Scott McCullough". So then, I can connect that photo to you. The same could work with groups. The trick would be making sure admins can populate the list of friends and groups somehow (these would be user specific so we would need to send them in at runtime) and performance. Would you have any concerns about using tags as filters and performance. Obviously there would need to be some changes to SG to filter albums to a user (and create a "default" gallery for each user on init) A last little detail that would be very nice would be to write the tagging into the story feed API for ST and/or Active Social showing: "Scott McCulluogh was tagged in the photo COMDEX 2008" It sounds so simple when I explain it doesn't it?
