I like your NewsArticles module which we can change templates. I want to be able to program a token-based module like that. However, the source code of NewsArticles is so complicated for me to understand. Can you give some tutorials and very simple samples to learnm please? Thank in advance.

If you login as host, and go into admin options -> site templates, you will see a list of templates in the dropdown. Each template has a number of layout files associated with it. The layout files govern what is shown on the screen. A list of tokens is found in the pinned thread on this forum. If you have any specific questions, please post here. You will need to know html to modify templates.

Thank to answer. However, you misunderstand me. I want to know how to read the html file and replace token in the template file.

The edit site templates screen reads the html file and allows you to edit, you can substitute tokens into that text area, e.g. [AUTHOR]. If you want to find the actual file on the file system, they are in /DesktopModules/DnnForge - NewsArticles/Templates//
