I was wondering if you would add the following tokens.
[CREATEDAY], [CREATEMONTH], [CREATEYEAR]

It would also be useful if the View.Item.HTML Template could know the number of Comments.

I am working on a template for the news articles and this would be needed.

Here is a link to show what I am shooting for.  Click on the Activity Guide Link.

You should be able to already do this:-

[PUBLISHSTARTDATE:XXX] becomes [PUBLISHSTARTDATE:dd, MM, yyyy] or something similar to that.

Thanks!! That did it.

I am wondering if anyone knows how to get the day to format as 1, 2, 3 ... instead of 01, 02, 03...

This isn't critical but I think it would look better for my template.

Thanks.

Try

[PUBLISHSTARTDATE:d, MM, yyyy]

Try

[PUBLISHSTARTDATE:d, MM, yyyy]

That Definitely works if I want to the entire date together.
What I am trying to do is have the day only on the first line, and the short version of the month on the line below.

For this dd gives me the 01, 02... format and MMM gives me the short month format (Apr, May...).

d by itself gives the entire date... 4/5/2008

You can also split it up by using multiple tokens:-

[PUBLISHSTARTDATE:%d] -- add line break
[PUBLISHSTARTDATE:MMM]

For a complete list of date formatting options, see here (scroll down to patterns half way down)
