Hello, I just tried to upgrade to 4.8.2 (I have Friendly URLs working on 4.5.5 and I migrated to 4.8.2). I have a bug for accessing the HOST SETTING and an error message... Unfortunately, I did not copy / paste the error message. I am very hurry, I had to degrade back to 4.5.5 I hope that other people may encounter the problem and report the error message. You should use the core provider for rewriting now, it is essentially updated code. Do you know how to switch it on?

I need to add urlFormat="HumanFriendly" to {add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" /} I just tested it, and this times it works !!! Thanks a lot, I did not see that it was already integrated into the core. Problem SOLVED !! DV

But there is a problem which remains with multi-lingual portal... :-( Described here: http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/35/view/topic/postid/27649/Default.aspx If you use language parameter, the URL is not longuer url friendly. If you do not use the language parameter, you can NOT change language... Anyway, I hope to be able to switch in a near future to Bruce Friendly URL Master or DNNMaster SEO Package (both provide friendly url, I am making some test to define which one can best suit my case) DV

I think those language parameter problems need to be addressed in the core.
