I was running dnn 4.5.1 on a win 2k box with MSSQL2k and all seemed ok. We started to see errors on the HD/OS, files were there but no there and as we started to migrate things the HD died :(

We had the backup but this seemed to mirror the missing file issue that we had.

We installed the backup onto a 2003 server using MSSQL 2k again. We re installed most modules which seemed to resolve most issues but something seems a miss with the dnn core.

I was after a way to repair the dnn install without really upgrading unless this is the only option.

Any ideas?

Thanks

What is the missing file issue? Are you missing files from the core?

FCK editor was knackered, repaired that, Users Online still not working and I discovered a couple of days ago that the blog module has fallen over.

Discounting the blog module, my concern is that there may be other files missing, or if not missing that they are of an older version due to the old HD issues.

The only way I could see to really resolve it would be a fresh install using my current database, alot of work though.

You should be able to reinstall FKCEditor and users online.
