Hello I have just started using the News Article Module (v 6.15) on DNN 4.8.3 (I am annoyed with myself for not using it sooner) it is a great module. So far I have a only couple of category listed on one page, which is displaying the summary, the "Read More" is linking to a URL (page on my site). I have another page which I have filtered to display only one category (summary view). When I click the Categories link I can see the two categories listed. But when I click on a category it brings me to a newly generated Category View page, which is using a non friendly /tabid/ URL. I had mistakenly expected to be taken to the filtered category page I had created with the friendly URL. Have I missed something in the settings or if not is there a way to display the generated Category View page with a User Friendly URL? Thanks Lynn

What is "filtered category page I had created with the friendly URL" - is that another instance of news articles filtered on a single category?

Hi Scott Thanks for the fast reply. Sorry I should have explained in more detail. I have seperated the categories via the useful filta feature and placed another instance of the news article relating to a specific category on its own page. I have since realised that although I can link to the main article (located on it's own page) via URL link, there is no alternative link facility to enable me to specify a URL link to a particular category page. I just presumed that the "Categories" links would be associated with the filter if set. Sorry my mistake, I was expecting too much. Thanks Lynn

No problems, there could be many filtered instances making it really difficult to link to another instance for viewing categories.
