Hello, I just recently bought this and am trying it out.

How do I set this up so my end users don't have to type a summary??

I know this is not a blog module, but most blogs do not make you click twice to read each blog article.

I want my end users to only have to type in the entiire article, to only read the entire article, and have it be optional for them to click the article title to display the article on its own page.

So far I have not found anything in the admin etc. options, I will keep looking.

Regarding upgrades, do I just install the newest module and not worry about previous versions installed??

Thank you, Tom

Well, I figured out that I can have people just post to the summary section, though now I have to find out how big I can make the RTE for people to see what they are doing, and learn the template/token system...

Am I correct that I just install the new module over the old to upgrade it??

Thank you, Tom

If you make changes in the template, you have to rename/create a new one other wise it will be over written in the upgrade.

As you realized you can create the all article in the summary, so it will all be displayed in one long page article after the other. then in the admin settings you can control how many articles will be in each page.
In admin options you also have the option you wanted to launch the article on a separate page.
what is "RTE"?

RTE = Rich Text Editor
Also known as the somewhat buggy FCKEditor. :)

If I create a new/custom template, where is its file(s) stored??
Then I could just save its files etc. whenever I update.

Thank you, Tom

In the admin options of news articles, you have site templates. There you have a create new template. create a new one with your name and the module will create for you a default template with all the pages included you can work on and modify. Use the other, which will be over written every upgrade just for control.
