I've specified two columns for a Latest Articles module.  The columns do not seem to be of equal width.  How can I control this?

Can you post a link?
In news articles (not like property) you can set up a default lay out which means that you can control the lay out by css.
Is that what you like to do? In the property where I use two columns I see and know the problem you're drscribing in some browsers but
didn't check it in the news articles.

Yes. Take a look at 2SidesMagazine.com.

The module in the center of the home page is a Latest Articles module, configured to show 2 columns. I want the two colums to have the same width.

You will have to wrap the title with a div.Then wrap the all three of them (title,image,summary) with a div which is your template that you put in the item.html. wrap all of that with another div from the header.html to the footer html.

here are the classes you can start with:
#wrappingdiv {}
#wraptemplate{float:left;width:47%;margin-left:xxpx;height:xxpx;}
You will have to use the fluid layout in the latest option.

Could you elaborate just a bit? Does this go in the template for Latest Articles under Options, or in one of the other templates?

Avi,

You comments seem to be directed at the layout of the New Articles module. I'm concerned with the layout of the Latest Articles module. I assume that they are related, but I don't know which, if any, template in the News Articles module applies to the layout of the Latest Articles.

Your comments seem to refer to styling the items. Is there a place that I can style the table layout for Latest Articles?

Thanks!

Yes, sure. At the "latest" module you choose "view options", then you choose for the "layout mode" :simple.
then you will get a header, item, footer, boxes where you can edit the template.
so now try this: (from before)

You will have to wrap the title with a div.Then wrap the all three of them (title,image,summary) with a div which is your template that you put in the item.html. wrap all of that with another div from the header.html to the footer html.

here are the classes you can start with:
#wrappingdiv {}
#wraptemplate{float:left;width:47%;margin-left:xxpx;height:xxpx;}
You will have to use the fluid layout in the latest option.
