I am curious what the roadmap is for News Articles moving forward?  I have added a couple of features myself -- like a Tag Cloud module built for News Articles (which you can see at www.gunpowderchronicle.com) and I am working on an Author Profile module as well.

I want to break into the source code to add the ability to add sites you can ping (like the features in WordPress) so that you can ping Google Blog Search, Technorati, Feedster, and others as well.  But I don't want to modify your core too much until I know what your roadmap is.

Which brings up another question:  if we have enhancements to your core code, what is the best way to submit that to you?
