Hi,

when the articels are shown in summary view (blog format), the comments are not visible.  Can this be changed?

Thanks,

Peter

Yes, you can modify and create your own template. Just edit the file in the template, and you will do whatever you want.

What is the correct token to display the "comments"?

I propose that you look already existing template, and to look Ventrian help...

But something like that should help (<> replaced by {}):
[ISCOMMENT]By [HASANONYMOUSURL]{a href="[ANONYMOUSURL]"}[/HASANONYMOUSURL] [AUTHOR][HASANONYMOUSURL]{/a}[/HASANONYMOUSURL][/ISCOMMENT]
[CREATEDATE] [CREATETIME] [RATING] [DELETE]

I think you misunderstood me.
If an article is displayed in "short" form, no comments are vissible. If you click on the title of the article (blog) or on the read more, the comments appear.
I did not find any comments related tag that controls the comments section.

Have you tried to had the following:

[ISCOMMENT]By [HASANONYMOUSURL]{a href="[ANONYMOUSURL]"}[/HASANONYMOUSURL] [AUTHOR][HASANONYMOUSURL]{/a}[/HASANONYMOUSURL][/ISCOMMENT]
[CREATEDATE] [CREATETIME] [RATING] [DELETE]

into the "short form" of your template ?? It will work. You will then have the comment visible in the short form. That's what you want, correct ?

Hi DV,

thanks for taking the time to help me.

There is someting strange going on.
I created a new template folder (myblog) and copied all the blog template files. No problem there, that worked.
I switched the module to myblog. Worked ok.
Then I started modifying files. Most of them worked. But any changes I make to listing.item.html (I assume this is the short form" are not picked up. Very strange.
Any adivse?

Peter
