Scott,
I have seen previous posts regarding sub-catagories and it seems that there was debate over the best way to implement them but the last posts I could find regarding that topic seemed to lean towards tagging as the alternative.
With the inclusion of Tagging, does that mean there will never be sub-categories?
I ask this because I have been working on a project where sub-categories would be ideal to organize an article library. If tagging is going to be used rather than sub-categories will there be a way to search (and list) articles using AND/OR?
In case I am not asking the question properly here is an example:
I have topic categories which exist in two main categories: National & State
Education, Entertainment, Politics are sub categories which need to exist in both of the main categories.
I want to be able to list articles that exist in National>Education without State>Education. If tagging is used I would like to be able to list and search for articles which have both "National" AND "Education" (perhaps the option to choose either AND, OR when selecting multiple tags).
Thanks,
JO
