| At JustNorth Outdoors (http://www.justnorth.com/) we have utilized the News Article module to the x degree. From are articles library to site announcements, to outdoor recipes. It is comforting to not have to worry that this third party module will be there when the next DNN upgrade comes around. Keep up the great work, Scott. |

I am using News Articles on my site here:
Young Active Professionals It'll be used for admin announcements and also for my community members to post articles on activities to do in their city. I plan on customizing NA in the future & creating a template that ties into my custom profiles module so that for each article view, it gives a link to the author's pprofile and displays a photo thumbnail of him or her. I just published my first site using Scott's News Articles module: http://www.homeofficeblues.com. I am currently using it for a blog and will be adding another instance for handling articles (as soon as I write some articles). I did up a custom template for the blog. I will create another template for the articles section. I want to make the two look different so I can treat the content differently.
Feedback appreciated.
Thanks. |

Looks great Jack, two things that I think will really help are (that are in the pipeline):-
- Ability to customize the "Current Articles" link.
- Ability to specify custom fields
The current articles comes from the resource file, but you obviously don't want it change for all instances, so it looks like it could be an admin option. |

| Another thing that would be very useful is a "Print" tolken. |

Scott, just to validate your comment. I received this email a few minutes ago.
Hi Jack,
Can wording use "Recipe" instead of "Article" on the recipe site? This is what I called about on Friday since I had met with some of the women that may use the site and they mentioned that it would be more intuitive if the word "Recipe" was used. They also said they are looking forward to using the site. |

| The "NewsCategories" module should also help, I notice that you have the categories (manually?) entered on the left hand side.. |
