I have a seperate template for featured articles. This template  has the title, image and summary. For non featured articles, it's just the headline. I would like to put a divider between the two, like a dotted line.

Featured Article
Date
Summary text Summary text Summary text
Summary text Summary text Summary text
Summary text Summary text Summary text

...................................................................

This is an Article Headline (category)
This is another Article Headline (category)
This is yet anpther Article Headline (category)

What file do I have to modify to achieve this? I have the templates set up, I just want to divide the featured and non featured articles.

Thanks! (I love this product BTW)

There are 2 templates:-

Listing.Item.Html (modify this one to 1 line link)
Listing.Item.Featured (modify this one to have the line underneath)

Right. I got the one line headline part. Where do I put the dotted line? Is there a featured.item.footer?

There is no featured.item.footer, but you can just put it under the featured.item, unless you only want it to appear once (under multiple featured items)

Yeah, I want it to appear just once and putting it in the featured.item makes it repeat. I would usually have two featured articles at the top, and the one-line headline link articles at the bottom. I think it would look slick if I could put a divider between them. Maybe put a label "Other News" above the non-featured articles.

If it can't be done, I won't lose sleep over it. Thanks

Hmm, you could add 2 instances of new instances to that page (using add existing), and go into filter options and filter on featured only by checking "Show Featured Only?".

On the other instance, check the appropriate categories you want to display.

On a further note, this would make the display use your containers, but you could turn them off, it's another approach though.

There is no featured.item.footer, because featured items can appear halfway down a list and not together at times.
