Allow Comments? Check to allow comments to be posted with articles.
Allow Ratings? Check to allow ratings to be posted with articles.
Allow Anonymous Comments? Check to allow comments to be posted by anonymous users.

Shouldn't the above settings allow any reader to rate a story, but not comment on it?

Right now, the indicated settings do not allow ratings or comments.

Am I missing something?

Hmm, your right, there is no option to rate the article, only the rating appears. This is a definite bug.

If I'm followig this thread, this means we can allow the rating of an article without a comment. Is this possible and if so, how? I can't seem to make it work. In fact, I can't seem to find a way to rate at all and I have ratings turned on. Help! Dax

You can rate an article without posting a comment by using [POSTRATING] token
