Hi Scott,

Is there any chance of youincluding document upload in this module?  Everything else is perfect!

I posted something in the feedback center about attaching media to a property...I wonder if there could/should be a larger context for any type of [approved] file. I could see uploading PDF brochures on vacation properties, Word Window Stickers on cars, Video House Tours, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Ideally this could be limited by role.

Great idea.  I have a few .mov 360 VR files to upload!

It would need some kind of handler for download/play. I kind of like how Catalook handles attachments in that it will automatically determine based on file type how to handle a file (download a .doc, wrap the code around a .mov or swf.) Pretty simple for administration.

I'm actually going to be moving the files for the module downloads to this module, so yes, I will be supporting file types as custom fields.

You'll be able to specify which files are allowed to be updated (via extensions, e.g. .doc, .xls)

It would need an option to be secure as well.

It will be done shortly (next few weeks), there are some lingering enhancements from the agent functionality to add first.

How is the progress of this enhancement? I recall some others using News Articles were interested in attaching files, and this would make sense for both modules having it incorporated. Figure I'd drop the bomb on this since it's been inactive for a few months.

It will be in property agent as a custom field.

News Articles, I haven't decided yet on how to best implement it.

Man this sounds cool! Is this functionality there yet? I'm thinking of doing it as a replacement for the document handler in DNN. This would make a very customizeable solution...

Just checking on this... Noticed the download area looks different, is it using this?

At the moment, it's using the UDT module.
