Would be nice to be able to not only edit the description but rotate the image via Simple Gallery. I'm use to all the features of Gallery (http://gallery.sourceforge.net).

I need to be careful about feature overload, there are some extra compression types coming to help control quality.

Would this be a feature on the edit photo do you think? Rotate 90 degrees, etc.. ?

I completely agree that the feature set should be kept minimal. That is one reason why I like Simple Gallery.

I do believe at least the ability to rotate the image on the image edit page would be a great feature addition whithout sacrificing the "simple" part.
