I use A LOT of simple galleries and they work great, he are my top gripes about the module:-

I'd like to use the simple random without the ability to click and link back to the originating album (if I have a hidden album as the source for example).

Is there anyway to bookmark the gallery?  It's impractical to display a gallery below a text box on the page for example, opening or closing albums loses site of the gallery - can it not return to the gallery.

Creating an album
When I create a new album, I would like the folders to be created on the server, that way I can FTP the images and sychronise the directory.  Currently, the folders aren't created until the first image is added.

Modifying the root directory.  it would nice if the path Gallery/Album/ wasn't cleared, so I could just append a meaningful name.

Adding an individual photo - could the title default to the file name as in adding from a zip.

Thanks

Do you mean placing an anchor at the album position? And when clicking through an album links to the gallery position?

Great Suggestion.

I agree

Yes, this happens for bulk imports at the moment too.

How do you find the upload process? I've been looking for a better upload control for importing the images?

Exactly - at the moment, if I click to open an album the screen repostions and I lose visibility of the album (depending on it's position obviously).

I don't have any problem with it other than those I've mentioned - I'm not browsing my PC for images to upload, rather I create a local directory of prepped images and uploading them.  The folder creation would simplify the process, but my needs are no greater.

The anchor deal is in the feedback center, but I think it may need some more votes.
