Hello there again,

Would it be possible to have the title as a non required field?

I realize that the title is used for the breadcrumb, in which case you could simple show Image View, or something similar.

We are uploading thousands of images, but do not want to add a title to the majority of them, and do not to show the file name. Basically do a check that "if title = string.empty then do not show it, else, show it".

Any chance?

Thanks.

Hmm, the image title is taken from the filename if not supplied, this does not work for you?

Nope it does not.

"DSC100293.gif "does not make sense to anyone (at least not to a certain demographic), and we would rather have that empty.

OK - I'll see how to drop this requirement.

Scott? Any luck on this yet? I have several clients that are requesting this as well (along with some kind of sort order feature).

Keep up the fantastic work!

The point of making it use the filename as the title was to save people who had correct file names a lot of working having to rename them again after uploading.

Scott, if you remove that function again, is there a way you could make it optional? Perhaps a tickbox on the upload page "Use filename as title"?
