Can you please tell me if the gallery is set to respect the dnn disk space value.  I'm having trouble determining if this has been added.

Also, I see that your releases are pretty frequent and was wondering how soon until we can set the number of thumbnails per page.

Lastly, if I implement this now will the new release just install on top of the old and retain all settings, albums, etc... or should I wait to install if these features are important.  Especially if someone has more pics than allowed space.

These are great options and the kind of stuff I'd love to see in Simple Gallery. I think these are some of the items a lot of the other photo gallery modules neglect.
