Although I like the new image upload functionality (works great on my 15MB connection) I have a few users who run on a slow connection, and the batch upload via .zip files was a little quicker for them to upload quantities of files...is it possible to add that type of functionality back?

Thanks!

Are your users comfortable with selecting multiple files at once? The zipping actually doesn't add much to compression of already compressed files, it just makes it 1 entry point.

I just upgraded to the newest gallery without .zip upload, and I must say that I really like it. I think it is much more intuitive for low tech end users. However, I still need to hear my users' opinion.

Scott, if you bring back .zip upload, please make it an optional feature that can be toggled by the admin.

Yes, it would definately be an option.

I'm not completely finished with the uploader, there are still some changes to be made, such as more information about the files being uploaded. Has anyone seen the flickr implementation?
