You want to revert back from a new version to an old version? I'm not sure that would be that easy to do. Does the page with simple gallery have permissions open to all users? Some people can't upload without this set, I'm looking into that item. |

Hello Scott,
I've been following this thread because I'm a recent subscriber who is experiencing the same difficulties described here (i.e. unable to upload via Firefox, ok with IE).
I did a bit of experimenting based on some of the things you've said. I can confirm that the upload process worked in your demo album using the Firefox browser. Also, once I set the page view permission open to All Users, uploading behaved as intended in Firefox.
Unfortunately, leaving the page view permission set to All Users is not feasible for my site, and a disproportionate number of the members who are to have editing access to the module are Firefox users (some exclusively!). Since I'm unable to go live with the module in the current state, I'd very much appreciate a fix for this issue.
Thank you for your high level of support. I look forward to putting this module into use as it will perfectly meet our needs, and I'm sure will impress my site's users. Save for this one issue, kudos!

| I've reproduced this and will be looking at it in the morning. Just about to release some more property agent features. |

Ok, I've looked into this, the problem is that FireFox doesn't not carry the authentication token to the page that receives the photos from the flash. This is the reason it works in IE and not in FF. I'll need to recode this section as a separate page and not as a user control in DNN., this should be done tomorrow. Thanks for your patience. |

Scott, the new version fixed it for me. Thanks! Now, all I need is a means of auto-sorting the Albums, and I'm all set! |

| Can you point to the thread about auto-sorting albums, or better yet, the feedback item? |

no .. should it be? I don't know if I got your question correctly I went into my admin-authentication and I saw a windows authentication option which is not checked currently , I have just started to use DNN and I don't know anything about how to change settings and what difference it will make with new settings.... so please bear with me and if I have to check windows authentication here in this place there are so many other fields I have to fill in under windows authentication and I don't know how... |

| After some testing of the latest upgrade, the upload problem reoccurred, via Firefox as before but also through IE. I tried deleting and re-uploading the album/photos, deleting the module and setting it up again, and even ended up reverting to a site backup with the previous version of Simple Gallery, but the upload process was simply not working. I finally tracked down the culprit: somewhere in the Host admin settings, I had only allotted 5MB of space to that portal, so I had clearly just used up all the space, so no more uploads would go through. Doh! I'm glad it was an easy fix at least. I think I should be able to safely upgrade again now. |

| Did you not get a message saying the portal limit had been exceeded when uploading images? |

No, no such message was apparent in either browser. It behaved exactly as the Firefox uploading problem: the status meter progressed but no photos appeared below. I'm convinced though that the portal allowance was indeed the problem; since upping the limit uploading has been incident-free. |
