I wanting to use the subscription tool for the cycling website I maintain so current members can pay their dues online and new members can join. For current members, the renewal cost is $20 for a year and for new members it is $90, but they get a pair of cycling shorts and a jersey. Both of these options will give them access to the BMC Registered Members role I created. Here are my questions:
Is there a way to only show current members the $20 renewal box and only show the new members the $90 Join box? It would have to look at the BMC Registered Members role to see if they are already in there and if so they would only see the $20 renewal box.
For the $90 Join Now box I also need a way to capture what clothing size they need. Is there a good way to do this without creating a new plan for each size of clothing.
If the members pays in paypal, but doesn't click the return to merchant link will my website still capture the purchase information?
My membership is good until 12/31 of each year, is there a way to handle this with the current product as opposed to having to chose a week, month, year, etc...
Thank you,

Not currently, i'm open to ideas how to implement this generically, maybe an option to only offer this plan to people in these roles.

Not sure how to do this, maybe use custom fields from property agent?

Yes, it uses Instant Payment Notification.

At the moment, the subscription signup is a period of time extended from the signup date, your saying you always havea fixed end date, regardless of when they signup? |

I am also using this module for a cycling club's website. Our dues are not based on when they signed up, but on a fixed date each year. For example our dues for 2007 are due by April 1st and are good until March 31 2008.
What we need is to have the ability to set a FIXED end date as an option. Iinstead of just OneTimeFee, day, week, month, & year perhaps you can also offer a FixedDate option with the ability to type (or pick) a date for expiration. Or if you can set the OneTimeFee to offer the ability to type an expiration date.
Lastly, is there anyway to edit the previous receipts? The link says "Edit Recipts" but you actually only have the ability to view or completely delete the reciept. If we could manually edit the Receipt's End Date, at least it would show the correct expiration date and be picked up as ready to expire for notifications. |

This sounds like a good suggestion, can you add it to the feedback center?
I think the way you have described it is the best method, a fixed end date instead of a period of time.
I need to examine the ability to edit a receipt, because it will impact the role a user belongs too by modifying it. So if you edit a past receipt when other receipts exist after the edited receipt, you would need to adjust all roles accordingly. It should be workable, but this was the reason I had originally disabled the edit. |
