Does anyone know of a way to redirect a user and/or sercurity role to a certain page after login?   I don't want a portal wide redirect but just for a certain role.  I saw a beta module that does it here http://www.kreko.com but it warns not to put into production (which I want to do) .

This seems like it would be something many people would want??

Looking at thier web site it isn't listed as a feature.  

I found a solution to this.. It is a module called traffic director.  In case anyone else needs a similar solution.  It can be found here.

I tried this product and don't like it.  If you look at the diagram, you have to hide the default home page and create another "pseudo" home page.  This is a lot of work to redirect.

It works just fine once it is setup but one should not have to go that far into redirecting users.

I use the redirector from www.tigercodes.com and it is easy to setup and maintain.  You can redirect individual users or roles.
