If I have a valid username and password, how can I programmatically login the user?

Take a look at the DNN login module, it has the code to log them in. You can then put that code wherever you need to automatically log someone in.

Sometimes thinking before typing is useful.  Thanks for not laughing out loud at me.  Of course that's where to look, but I surely didn't think of doing it!
