I just went live with a site that uses Active forums Site. I notice when I use their editor, it does not put paragrahp breaks in unless I manually add a

. I have it set for Active Forums Editor. I did not care for the Default DNN Editor. Is there a setting I am missing that will allow paragraph breaks. I seems to work on this forum.

I am using ActiveForms 3.6 on DotNetNuke version 3.3.7. At first I was using the ActiveForums editor, but decided to switch to the default DNN editor, which in my case is the FCKeditor.

So far, it has worked very well. You can read about the FCKeditor Provider on the DNN site at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ProviderFCKeditor0153/tabid/934/Default.aspx.

FCKeditor and set it to basic for the instance on the forums will give you the paragraph and line breaks without all the extras.

Go to
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ProviderFCKeditor0153/tabid/934/Default.aspx

FCKeditor project. This will have information on how to replace the default FTB editor with the FCKeditor and forum help. There will also be a download for it s.

Most of us, including Scott, have switched to this editor.

If you decide to switch, just remember the rule: allows backup your files.

Scott & et All,

Thank you for your replies. I have implemented the FCKEditor. I like it. I do have one issue, how you you display HTML code in a message. I have a user at ArGoStuff (http://www.argostuff.com/) that was attempting to post HTML code, and it just not seem to be working. I have played with it myself, can can't seem to get around it. Suggestions?
