Dear Scott and everyone else here helping out. I need to set up a contact/newsletter form on this website, a vacation rental site. Basically I want to be able to offer the visitors to sign up for my newsletter by ONLY filling out their email address and then click sign up, I DON'T want to bug them with Username/Password and all the other stuff DNN asks for. Further, IF they want to, they can also fill out other questions, such as: - Which date are you planning to visit (this should be set to be a date answer with a date picker come up) - Have you been here before (Boleean answer, yes or no) - How did you find us (drop down menu with multiple answers. I have purchase the UCanUse but the problem with that one, is that it always requires a user to fill out a Username/Password. Any help with this one? A module out there or how to set this up? How about XMOD, is that one hard to configure? Thanks! Niclas

I'm not sure I know of a module out there that does this, but my knowledge is not good in this area.

Anyone else?

A very quick way would be to use a form generator, e.g. complete feedback designer. Here you can have two fields: name and email and do all the hardwork yourself.
Sneak preview: my business partner apollo software is about to release a simple newsletter / email collector module. It should not take long before you will see it on snow, but you know developers, time is flexible ;) (no offence ment erik!)

I believe DataSprings' Opt-In email mod does this. You don't have to be a member of the DNN site to get the newsletter. They just ask for name and email address, and you can ask other questions if you'd like.

I use the Datasprings module at my site. Have a look here http://www.smallbizserver.net/tabid/303/Default.aspx.
