Hi Scott,
Would you be able to link a jquery plugin like this (http://www.serie3.info/s3slider/demonstration.html) with the actual news article latest in order to have a kind of preview on one side and a list of 4/5 news on the other?

this is not my idea. I mean something like this:

(the news preview)
It's a little bit different because in the first one (that you suggest) there is a simple addiction of a js file while i hope to connect the jquery plugin with the simple list of latest news. At the moment is possible just to do one odf this things and not all in the same time.
Anyway, apologize for my english that is not so perfect and Thanks again for your help and your replies

The other link was to highlight what was possible.
It is possible to incorporate jquery, it just requires knowledge of the script you are trying to integrate and the ability to put it in the article templates. |

Have a look at the great cycle lite plugin - it will do most of what a re looking for.
I use it to turn the simple gallery random module into a image swapper - you can see it on this site. It's just one call to the cycle lite plugin. To add the slide up title would be a fairly simple addition.
