I just applied the skin to DNN 4.6.2. Now the Host & Admin child menus are not accessiable. How do I fix this?

While I'm on it.. The search menu looks a little bit off. You can see what I mean at http://www.topcatbooks.com.

How to fix this problem.

NOTE: Don't forget to do a backup before edit de database.

Execute this query in your database.

UPDATE Tabs
SET TabOrder = 1, TabName = 'Host', DisableLink = 1
WHERE TabID = 7

After that restart the application (you could do it by editing the web.config)

The SQL statement works.  However, when I restart DNN (either by going to Host > Host Settings > Restart Application, or by just modifying the web.config file) the original data in the tabs table goes back to its former state.  As a result, the skin still looks broken.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  Thank you for your time.

when I said, "the original data i the tabs tables goes back to its former state,", I meant to say that the rows that were modified by the SQL statement and were changed, go back to the previous data, thus effecting no change.

I have had the same problem for some time but finally managed to fix it.

1. First update the tabs table for host tabid(s) with correct detail - you can check any DNN installation for this.
2. Restart Application (Host > Host Settings > Restart Application)
3. Forgot to say (before the first step I uninstalled the Ventrian skin and Ventrian skin objects.

Website www.dbalinks.com is now working.
