We recently intstalled the PM module. Works great!

We have faced no issues sending or receiving messages to individuals. However, when we sent a message to all registered users (over 20,000) the page just hung for a while. Later, the statistics showed that only 180 messages had been sent.

Is there a limit on the number of PMs that can be sent at a time?

Are the emails - that go to the users who have the email forwarding enabled - batched?

Is there a way to make the email sending async?

Are there any plans of implementing this soon? We'd like to be able to send to various roles, some of which may have hundreds of users.
