I'd like to mention a couple of other basic things that are needed to allow its use as a file manager for non-admin users.  Creations and deletion of folders has already been mentioned, but also -

1. Only allow file/folder actions below the "Select Folder".  Add Files has a drop down with levels above that.

2.  Secure / non-secure indication.
