I don't know how to customize the latest articles yet; I hope there's a way to template it like the actual articles. anyway if you click through to the article itself you'll see a template I did that I'm proud of.

Hi Scott, yes thank-you I am aware of that and have done that a little, but it seems much more difficult than the fantastic templates you have for the NA...I don't even know where to being to add my own graphics like I can with the other templates, as this is much smaller snippets of html...any chance you might create a full-blown editable template for the LA as well? Here's hoping.

This will be a template for a whole family of sites, and we've worked hard to skin the NewsArticles modules in an innovative way. A pleasure to use your News Article Module.  My site is new so I don't have performance or response info. yet but I'm betting on success.  My site is housedistrict39.com which is a political site designed to provide a "watchdog" service to the constituants of NC House District 39.  This is the district where I live.  I also work for NC State Government (Secretary of State), so I have a keen interest in this project.  I will initiate articles of interest and give viewers the opportunity to comment.  Thanks again for a solid, easy to deploy, easy to use module.  Would that all developers were so "true to their advertising".  My personal development/consulting site is jamwebservice.com and I intend to refer my site visitors to Ventrian as well as use your modules in various sites I maintain.

We use news Articles for http://www.thousandislandslife.com.  The homepage is using News Articles Latest to display the current issue.  Visitors can easily find their articles by Author, Date, or Category.  I set up the site and the content was put in by a non-tekkie using Windows Live Writer and the fabulous module MetaPost by ITC.  If you do a lot of content, go to snowcovered right now and get MetaPost.  If you are not yet a member of Ventrian, what are you waiting for?  My clients think I am a genius, but it really is Ventrian and DotNetNuke (ITC Metapost and Microsoft too)

This is really a beautifully-done site! Great source material certainly doesn't hurt... I had no idea the Thousand Islands were so lovely. Gotta add that place to my bucket list. :)

We're just in the act of re-launching our local newspaper site tonight, making extensive use of News Articles, as well as Simple Gallery, Property Agent, and Child Links. Thanks to Scott for providing a few key recent enhancements and to other members of the forum for helping to solve some riddles. Can't emphasize enough how well Ventrian's suite of modules has served us in this project.

Well it actually went live in February but our new City website uses News Articles, Latest Articles, Child Links, and Simple Gallery.

We also use the News Articles RSS on the front page with DNNStuff Articles to create the News/Around Town Carousel.

So far our golf club site are using News Articles, Latest Articles and Articles Archieve and are very pleased. I can see a future development for our site with both these and other Ventrian modules.

Forum and support is very good!

What would complement the forum is an online searchable help/documentation that probably would lift the modules to an even higher level and potential.

Using News Article module for news and articles, as well as PM module for properties, accommodations, business directory, jobs, press releases, stories, link exchange, ...; on top of this I am trying to implement everything of these with ST profiles, groups and events...

Its still a lot of to be done, especially in merging News articles module, PA and ST, but so far its going quite OK, and of course css’s for all of them...

Please do give me guys your thoughts – I would appreciate ALL bad comments for any mistakes I have made... Thank you.

I just upgraded the NewsArticle module at http://www.auburnmountain.com/Articles.aspx

I like the new standard template. I did modify it so that the article titles would use h2 tags.

We have over 500 articles and pages on our site now.
