I suppose I should add my sites to this list.
http://www.mygadgetbag.com
We are using the News Articles mod extensively. We have almost 400 news articles, and it's holding up well. We use the News Articles mod about 4 different places throughout the site. I am still learning the ways we can use the new features.
We even made it to the front page of digg.com today! DNN and the News Articles mod held up well too, while being dugg! The site didn't drop once.
Thanks for the great mod Scott!
Oh, I also have this site:
http://www.dragonsempire.org
That site uses pretty much every one of your mods in one way or another! |

| We are using NewsArticles on the website for a hotel we just built and are now running in Huaraz Peru.
http://www.santacruzperu.com/
The latest articles are beeing used on top of front page.
"News and Stories" menu goes to current articles.
Some menuitems ie the 3 last on the "activities" menu goes
directly to an "important" article.
At the moment the site is "somewhat" multilanguage. Ideally all our content should be in both english and spanish.
We love the module.

I am alos using News articles at www.fsalliance.net
I have one module for user submissions, and one for the admins / news moderators. Right now, we use it for News and Announcements only, but will soon start doing Reviews and Tutorials with it.
You have done an outstanding job on this module!! Many Thanks!! |

I'll post a link to our local Squash & Real tennis club that's using News/Articles.
I'd also like to ask wvdominick if the Top News stories is a RSS feed displayed in the News/Articles module or if it's done manually. I'm trying to find a way of autosizing the width of my photo so if you have any ideas I'd appreciate it.

Leif,
I am using Orizonti's NukeFeeds 1.3 for the RSS feeds. It's worked very well after a few bugs have been fixed. It's not perfect, but I'd certainly recommend it.
Thanks, Dominick |

Here's one of my latest: www.Calraces.com
On this site, I'm using several instances of the Articles module for individual blogs, and aggregating the latest on the front page using NukeFeeds. You can see the archives at work on the individual blogger's pages, and a very simple Latest Articles list under each bio page.
The only real issue I'm facing is the lack of tokens for RSS, as I mentioned in another thread, and submitted to feedback: GO VOTE . Without this ability, there is no way to indicate whether or not there is more to the article than the summary that appears on the front page, or to people who read via newsreader. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the implementation. |

I'll chuck in one of mine - a site in the making so nothing ever quite works... http://nuke.nickclements.net
Anyways I use Scotts articles module on the Blog page with a little custom template (based on Blog) to display the date in a calendar like format. It doesn't work 100% as intended although it does on my local machine (!).
Then I use latest articles in places like the front page to display the content I want there. I use css only to format the template and the latest articles display. This really pays off in situations where a module uses repeater controls (like articles) because the users brower caches that css and therefore doesn't have to keep writing and re-writing html tables. |

Regards, Nick

Does anyone know how this effect was achieved?
http://www.mygadgetbag.com/
I like how the title of the article is above the image and first paragraph, and the image is to the left of the first paragraph. (second story down)
When I upload an image to a story, the image is left of the title of the article. And the first paragraph is under the image.
Is this a setting I am missing on the article publish page, or is it something in the template?
Thanks. |

It looks like a customized template to me. |

I am using the News Articles Module on this site, and also the Latest Articles that is used on several places to get links to the short stories being published here. I think the module is great and especially the fast feedback with bug fixes and improvements makes it even better!

The site is in Swedish BTW.

I think our local use of News Articles - a module I praise to everyone who'll listen! is looking and working quite well
http://www.fredonia.edu/news
I can't take credit for any of it except a bit of tech support. A good designer figured out the template, and a non techy but persistent end user mastered the module and now has a hard time leaving it alone. She's loving the ability to manage and tweak. |
