Posted By Chris Wylie on 9/09/2008 9:48 AM What is the best way to achieve a "Report Abuse" link for comments?
Here's a simple example I use in my site:
You just have to use the correct tokens in your link |

DV,
These are the tokens Scott was refering to. This was on one page back. I don't think he was talking about my "report abuse" and "bad link".........

Request:
Add These Tokens:
[ISANONYMOUS][/ISANONYMOUS] [ISNOTANONYMOUS][/ISNOTANONYMOUS]
To "View.Item.HTML"

How to suppress the view of "Entries for the X Category"? I have added an existing NA onto a page and filtered it just for a category, and at the top it says "Entries for the (X) Category." I would like this not to display. I have done searches here and also tried to find this verbage on the templates but have missed it somehow. Thanks! |

| phillmj, go into admin options -> site templates and edit the category.html template. This will allow you to change it. |

Um, I tried that already. Here is what is in the Category.html template for the template that my NA module is using: [CATEGORYLABEL] I tried removing that completely, and still got exactly the same results...Any thoughts? |

| Thank-you. That did work when I tried it again. I guess we'll chalk it up to a non-refresing cache, or one of the enduring mysteries of computers. I appreciate it! |

| Is there a good way to get the current year on the print template? I want to add "copyright 2008" to the bottom of the print document template. Portalname would be handy also, but I can easily hard code this. |

I'd like to be able to show [CATEGORIES] and [PUBLISHDATE] in listing and view templates, but only for Administrative users. Is there a way to special case [ISADMIN] or [ISINROLE:XXX] for these templates? Any other work arounds? Thanks, Chris |

There is already a [PRINT] token available that utilizes its own template - so you can customize. 1 - Please look at the token list at the beginning of this thread 2 - look for the print.item.html template from any of the templates shipped with the application: \DesktopModules\DnnForge - NewsArticles\Templates |

| Is there a template guide somewhere? I need to refresh my memory how to do it since 2 years ago. I just created a new folder with only one file View.Item.Html and set the module to use this new skin but the system continues to use my old one.... |
