Website www.AtUrbanMagazine.com running DNN 6.1.4 and NA 7.74. I upgraded this site from DNN 5.5.1 to 5.6.7 and then to 6.1.4. Sadly, the upgrade process didn't update the user profiles Preferred Timezone and all users were set to "International Datelone" instead of Central US. I corrected this in each user profile, but Articles had already been written to be uplished at midight April 1st. These Articles became visible on March 31sy because of the 6 hour different difference. All of this I can understand, BUT . . . Now when I go to the homepage all of the Articles say "Posted March 31st". When I login they say "Posted April 1st". All Portal, Webserver, Site Settings, Users, SuperUsers are all set to the US Central Timezone. Why would the date be different because I'm looged in if everything is set to the same Timezone?

I'm actually contemplating removing this functions for these problems. The difference between a logged in user and anonymous is the user timezone and the portal timezone. You've checked these?

Yes, several times. I just checked it again. Admin -> Site Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Security Setings -> Site TimeZone (UTC-6:00 Central Time (US & Canada) And I verified that all Users and Superuser accounts are now set to the same TimeZone. The Server itself is also located in the Central TimeZone and the Server Time matches my time.

I am having a similar issue. The time zones for the portal and user are both the same. However anonymous users are seeing a different time zone altogether. Everything should be UTC -5:00 but anonymous users are not seeing that time zone so articles aren't getting published at the correct time.

I did notice that when I am logged in and create an article that the timezone if off in the default time. The articles seem to display with this incorrect timezone. It appears that the articles get created with a timezone that is 5 hours earlier that the actual time. The server time is 14:30 (GMT - 5:00) The profile time zone is (GMT - 5:00) The portal time zone is (GMT - 5:00) Anonymous users see time in GMT - 5:00 Anonymous Article times are all displaying like they were created in UTC (0:00) The problem is with the time zone conversion for logged in users.

In the most recent version, I have removed the timezone conversion altogether. You can download this in the downloads page. 00.07.99 It has become too problematic to continue supporting in this format.
