Is it possible that we can show the blogs and articles of the logged in User's Friends ?

I am using SmartSocial and because its free now a days many ppl are trying to use it and make most it.

If this can be done then i'll really help smartSocial community too.

And suggestions regarding this ?

Just thought I´d give you a heads up... i might well be sponsering this one in the future.  I´m guessing its quite complex, any idea how much dev time would be needed?

Similiar extension is developed by Mark Hollas for Ultra Media Gallery module (bizmodules.net)

Below is the query that retireves recent photos(Utra media gallery module) uploaded by a friend (smartsocial module).

By seeing this query you can get an idea of how one can retirve records based on smart-thinker profile module.

Note: '[DNN:UserId]' is a token for that extension and it replaces with the logged in user ID. So you need to provide here the user's loggedin ID.

I am not sure about ur table structure so i have used 'ventrian' as an example.

I don't know much about google connect. Thouh google connect is really cool and i will definately like a module to enable google connect feature for me. But i think google connect should be implemented aat dnn level or at smart-thinker profile module's level.

As far as blogs from a friend is concerend, it can be implemented by a simple SQL query that retireves those blogs that are blogs of logged in users friend.

I think scott can tell us more on this.

But no doubt this google connect idea is supurb!
