Hi there,

I don't seem to be able to get an RSS link going which successfully combines categories.

I'm using 'News Articles Latest' module filtered to 'match all' for two categories, and using the token [RSSLINK].  This returns URL:

/DesktopModules/DnnForge%20-%20NewsArticles/Rss.aspx?TabID=243&ModuleID=585&CategoryID=15,47&MaxCount=4&sortBy=StartDate&sortDirection=DESC

However it only filters on CategoryID=15 and doesn't factor in CatID 47.

Is there a solution?

Just wondering if you have had any chance to look into this issue further.

We are making extensive use of categories, which we are finding a very powerful feature, but there are some areas like this where the system does not seem to behave as expected.

Scott I am afraid we are rather disappointed at the way this request has developed. Is there a fundamental problem with getting this to work or is it simply too low a priority?

I've just added tags to news articles, I can look at this at the same time as it uses a similar function in RSS (with match all tags).

I can't reproduce this error, when match any is selected with multiple categories, the RSS link works OK.

When match all is selected, there should be an extra parameter in the url, "MatchCat=1", I don't see it in your url, did you have it bookmarked or something?
