Hi,
We are unable to configure the initial setting for "News Article Latest" module. The "View Options" link is not visible in the edit mode.Is there a way to make it visible in the module?

Hi Scott,
We checked the module settings but we were unable to find the "View Options" setting. Can you please give additional details on how to find and configure it.
Thanks,
Yuva |

| Use the action menu, click "Settings" -> expand "Latest Articles Settings". This is the exact same section as the old view options. There is no "View Options" link anymore. |

Hi Scott, Appreciate your immediate response. Thank you. Can you please redirect me to any documentation on how to use the News Article module. How do we configure the Latest article module to show "View all announcements" link as in Home page of Ventrian systems. I'm unable to find any token for it to add it in the template settings. Thanks, Yuva |

There is no documentation for this functionality. Go to the module settings -> latest article settings -> pick the articles instance to link to. There should be no token you need to use, but you can customise the layout if you really wanted to. |

You need to pick the module you are linking to, and click update. The articles should display, are they at all? For the footer, you will have to hardcode the link in the footer (to view all announcements) If you can't work it out, please send me an email with login instructions and I'll take a look (support@ventrian.com) |

Hi,
Thanks for your support. We were able to customize the latest article module according to our requirement.
By thw way can you please clarify if we have a "Scrollable" property in the news article module. Does the module support the feature.
Thanks,
Yuva |

Apologize for not being clear in the question. Is it possible that we can make the announcements as scrolling text instead of displaying it as static in the latest article module. Do we need to customize the tempate by adding any token or the module already supports the feature? Thanks in advance. -Yuva |

Yes and no. There is no configure you can just "switch on", but you can achieve it through a technique like the one described here. |

Hi Scott,
I used the Jquery for News ticker and it did work for the first news article but as the news ticker fetches the next news there is an issues an bullet shown. I guess it is some issue due to the unordered list but unable to figure out.Is there anyway to avoid it.
Thanks,
Sri |
