What I'm trying to do is allow all users (included non-members) to view the body of the article/content and only want to secure the actual attachment (link, pdf, etc.).

Is there a way to do that with the NewsArticle module?

Thanks much,

- Adrian

You could do a role checkout around it in the templates.

e.g. [ISINROLE:Administrators]link.. [/ISINROLE:Administrators]

Some people the IsSecure functionality for this as well, putting the content in the summary and having the link secured.

Thank you Scott!

I've tried to use both ISINROLE and ISADMIN but the tokens don't seem to be replaced.  They are rendered as text.

I've added them to the View.Item.Html template.

Do these tokes only work in certain files?

Thanks much,

- Adrian

I just added [ISINROLE:XXX] to the next code release (out tomorrow).
