Scott,

Would it be possible to have the following items in a future release of News Articles.

1) [ArticleTitle] [CategoryTitle] [PageTitle] in the SEO Settings > SEO Title or have [ArticleTitle] [PageTitle] if no category is selected for the page title.

2) Remove the "categoryview", "articletype" and "articleview" from the URL so that the URL would be in the format: http://www.domainname.com/politics/articileid/1/name-of-article.

3) Have the Category Title display in the DNN Breadcrumb when viewing an article.

Also, Is it possible to select a different seperator i.e; replace ">" with something else in the page title ?

1.) Yes

2.) I think this is possible if the combinations of parameters are unique.

3.) It should do this already if you are coming from the category page. It can't do it all the time e.g. if you come from latest articles, because an article can belong to multiple categories.

Please, take into account that if it is applied, then we will be (once again) STRONGLY penalised for SEO, having once again two URL for identic content... Please either introduce 301 redirect or find another method. Thanks. It's real trouble to have URL which are changing too frequently. I have already been penalised recently (PR from 4 to PR 3 and now back to 4... But that's problematic !!)

I wouldn't change it without an option to retain the current format or a 301 redirect

On my side, I would have liked [ARTICLE] > [PAGETITLE] as expressed in the past... If possible ?...
Later on, when we will have solved some bugs.
