Hello,
With the new 00.07.13, I have the following problems:
- if I do not add anything in the excerpt, the display/listing of articles is not showing ANYTHING in this article (because it has inserted into the HTML code) - Note: I am using the HTML mode of excerpt
- if I correct the excerpt to clear the (and have nothing in it), then the display/listing of articles show correctly the first xxx characters. But then, the RSS does not contain anything
Can you reproduce this problem ?

NA 00.07.14:
1. Not solved

1. Maybe I did not explain correctly. When I click on CREATE ARTICLE, I enter a title and body. If I do not expand the excerpt, and I did not enter anything, then it contains: {p} {/p}
(maybe this is the error you are talking about which is related to DNN Core ??)
I am obliged to edit the article, open the excerpt and manually deleting the HTML code above.
Each time I EDIT the article, the excerpt is resetted to the HTML code above (if I do not expand the excerpt and I do not delete the HTML source code)
2. Now it is better than before. If there is no excerpt (if I take the precaution to delete the HTML source code), then the RSS contains the BODY. I would have thought that it would contain the excerpt tuncated to the first xxxx characters specified in the admin panel. Is it possible ?? Is it a good idea ?? What other people think ??
On my side, I would prefer to stay coherent, if the summary is shown, then RSS must show only first xxx characters.

1. I added code to check for an empty string on the summary by stripping out html tags for the check. You say this is not working? It is the same code as the RSS.
2. Not until I template RSS. I could hardcode maybe 150, etc. |

For 2/, forget about it, it might not be interesting for other people. I do not want to ask anything particular. I will live with it.
For 1/, the problem is still there, I confirm !

What do you mean ??? I am not using anything special. I just use the Rich text editor (FCK)
Tested with the new 00.07.15 --> still the same problem.
Did you reproduce it or not ?? Just create an article, enter something for title, for body. And then, PUBLISH. If you edit it, you will see in the summary (excerpt) the {p}#&160{/p}
