Hi,

I am having trouble in which when the admin has approved a comment, it sends the "Your comment has been approved" email to the admin instead of the user that submitted the comment.

Am I missing a setting somewhere? I have looked everywhere for a way to fix this with no luck so far.

I've just spent some time looking at the code:-

1.) When a comment is approved, the owner of the article is notified that a comment has been posted and anyone that has checked the "notify me" checkbox.

You are right, it should notify the person who submitted the comment and possibly only the people who have checked "Notify Me"

Just installed and tested on our development server and still has the same problem - even after ticking the "notify me" checkbox.
So now I am seeing the same problem on two separate servers with clean module installations.
Note: the only settings I changed was making sure that the following "Main Options" checkboxes were ticked

"Enable Comment Moderation?", "Use Captcha?", "Notify owner on approval" & "Notify Owner on Comment"

This is what happens currently when a comment is approved.

Are you saying something else is happening?

Yes the owner of the article is notified that the comment has been approved, however the user that commented does not get any emails at all - even if they select "notify me". I have checked this with multiple email addresses - so it's not going in a spam folder either.
