Hi Scott,
I remember reading somewhere before about related articles functionality, but I can't see it in the 'under development' section.
Are you still planning to add this functionality ?

Yep, I'll add this to the list.
The trick is how to select the related article, you might have to
search then add it to the list.. eventually I'll be re-doing the layout
of the create article page to be tab based and more friendly

Hi Scott,
I love the idea to be able to search and add the related article to the least
Any new development on related articles ? This is something that my members been asking for a long time :)
Now I have to manually go to each Article category and copy and paste each article title
How about an option to automatically displayed only top X number of article in the same catergories and filter by - Featured /Latest / Most Viewed / Random article
Anyone else have better ideas for related artilces? |

I think a Category TreeView with their Articles or a Title Search Function could be the best way.
3 Years after announcing this Feature it would be nice to have it realized ;)
Is there a timeline for this Enhancement ? |

Me, too .... But this Feature was ignored for 3 years. Too bad ...
NA is a very nice Module but it could be almost perfect with this Enhancement. |

| If you are developer, it is not so difficult to do. I just finished in my local site. I created a new token which can list 5 new articles in the same category. |

| Sorry, I only do it local site. If you want and it is legal, I can give you the dll and stored procedures. Put the dll in bin folder and run stored procedures. Then you can use the token. |

Hi Scott,
I still dont see you post any more update on this post ?? I know that there are people advertise to sell a custome realted Article module that work with your NA ...but I rather wait for your development as it is upgradable.
How about a solution for NA Latest module to work in the same way as PA latest module where there is an option to display related properties of the same Main PA category ?
Please tell me if this can be done . |
