http://www.dnnmart.com

I can not say enough for my experience with these guys.  For the number of features, space, and bandwidth at the 9.99 entry point, how could I not give it a try.  Plans:  http://www.dnnmart.com/Reseller.aspx

With an entry level account, I get the Helm control panel.  Huge improvement over my previous (Linux) host.  I have total control over my DNS records, which is a joy for my needs, I point things all over.  The only record I could not change was SPF, for good reason though, not everyone gets it and it WILL stop mail if done wrong.  Their website was clear on what requests needed to be made to get a DNN site going.  As I found out, when you host, there are just a couple little things that can not be touched and need to be tweaked by the hosting provider.  In one day (a Saturday), I had 5 seperate requests, from SPF changes to setting up DNN.  They responded to ALL of them in less than an hour each, they were spot on in satisfying the request, and in the end got my DNN installation up and running.  With this provider, I moved 5 domains, changed numerous DNS records, had  DNN installed on one domain, and had a second parent portal up and running in 1 day.

Finally, uptime and speed.  My sites have not been down yet.  They have a nice page on their website where I can see my current server status, including CPU usage and disk space.  FAST.  Downloads of 900kbs-1.1mbs are the norm (50MB file).

How sweet is that.

I guess you did not shop around for getting your hosting. The price is ripofff for 1gb of diskspace including ms sql space and 20gb bandwith. That is a bad deal. You can look at ihostasp.net you get much more from them. I used them before. Performance wise they are not that good so I moved to dedicated server. You can also look at godaddy you will get much more diskspace and bandwith but their support is not good.

Discountasp is decent hosting and gives you control to do more than any other hosting. After hosting with many companies in my opinion they are probably the best shared hosting.

ihostasp.net is giving 800MB + 250MB for 1 SQL DB. 10 GB bandwidth. Not seeing that I can have up to 10 domains hosted.  States only 1 DNN installation. Discountasp is not giving me a clear picture of what you get.  Also appear as though I can only host 1 domain.

DotNetNuke Mart allows me 10 domains (of which I already use 5), 5 seperate SQL DB's which means 5 DNN installations.  I shopped around quite a bit.  I would pay more for the service end alone.

Attempted to contact ResellerChoice, no response.

I guess you do not expect to grow with your 10 domains. 1 gb space so you get 100mb space for each domain including database and 2gb of bandwith. If your site is small then it is ok. It that is amount of space you need you may want to checkout crystech tech developer hosting at

http://crystaltech.com/developershared.aspx

They will charge you only $2.95. It can't get any cheaper than that.

I am currently doing some shopping myself...........I want to start with a shared plan then upgrade to a semi-dedicated or full dedicated plan when the time arises.

In response to resellerchoice, I had the same problem.........not to mention some other hosts as well.............

The first thing I do is ask certain questions to the sales dept, etc. via e-mail and wait to see how long the response is. Needless to say, I've not been very impressed with response times.....

Keep us posted on your choice with dnnmart.com..............

A few of the domains are just personal, they may neverhost a real website, but I prefer to host them in one place.  I figure, if I need more space, I can increase the plan as I go.  For now the real websites are small, low traffic, or development for my own DNN newbie ventures.

I should then point out the flaws of ihostasp. They do not have 24/7 support and no support on weekend. So if your site goes down on Friday evening you are in trouble. I hosted with many companies and I was not happy with anyone with a shared hosting. Finally I decided to get a dedicated server.

I tried godaddy for that and I did not like it. Now I am with server intelleect for 2 months and I am very happy with them so far. I do not know how their shared hosting are. One thing I like about the them is that all their support are in us not in india or somewhere else. And I always get knowldgeable technicians.

I have few friends who hosted with powerdnn everybody was happy with them but they are also the most expensive. Discount asp is good but they have only one plan and you pay for what you buy, at the end it gets pricey.

At the end for .net hosting it comes to how much you can pay. Their are lot cheap one but they will host 1000+ domains in one server so the performance will be horrible. Make sure you also check if they backup the database daily and if there is an extra charge for restoring the database. With dnn you loose your databsae you loose your site and most places does not do daily backup or they charge extra for restoring. I got burned twice that way that is why I went to dedicated server.

I hope this information will help.
