Hi everyone,

i have just made the prop module active on my site: www.montenegroforvisitors.com.

Have redone a bit Prop module and now I can use it for uploads of properties, accommodations, business directory, jobs, press releases, stories, link exchange, ...

Well, there is still quite a lot of tweaks to be done (especially in css’s for each of them); but basically, each of them have their own users, and they have different privileges on each of modules action.

Just now doing combining with ST modules (profile, groups and so on...) and with just few xmod lists...

I would appreciate all bad critics... (that’s the best way to see the tree out of the woods... well, to improve the functionality) - Thanks

D

I have coded a (mainly) div based template over on http://www.andersonmckenzie.co.uk/

Look under Property Finder...

Feedback welcome, I'd be happy to make the template available if anyone is interested.

Hi Tim,

Very nice ... if I were in the market for a realty template I'd definitely be interested. On another note, do you host your own site? The site performance is impressive.

Hi, ive created the following site over the last few months, often needing the support of Scott who is exceptionally responsive to forum posts and he has been a massive help. Anyway, here is the url and id say 80% of the site uses PA:

Scott,

Just signed up with you.  Notice you have a couple of forum threads which allows sorting by 'Newest first', however when I go to the next page, the list reverts back to 'Oldest First'. This of course makes it impossible to go through the list in a chronological order.

My shared insight - We are going with your modules based on real examples found in the thread 'Sites using News Articles'. This is your most powerful marketing tool! Use it to advantage, for example 'property manager' does not have a clearly defined thread. I had to shuffle through 'custom templates', with a broken date sort. The problem with the older referance sites is many are broken or MIA.

Cheers,

Daniel

I really like the BT_Directory template example Max2o posted. I am having trouble importing the template (receiving an error on the Template.xml file) - has anyone else had an issue importing this template?

The following post seems to point to a bad file with this error:

http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/38/tpage/1/view/topic/postid/16960/Default.aspx

Thanks,
Dave

UPDATE: The error was because of the extra BT_Directory folder in the zip file.  If you just zip the actual template files and import it works.

Thanks again for the template Max2o!

Ok, ask and you shall receive?  I'm trying to save some time here.  Has anyone got a good "Personals" template that they are willing to share?  Or in the alternative, a "Classifieds" template that could be modified?

Thanks

Here is how you can update the View Template to show a dynamic map instead of just a static image:

[This code has gotten mangled a bit]

The replaceAll function is just a partial fix to remove blank spaces.  Other characters like # in the [CUSTOM:TITLE] will cause this to fail.  We really need to find a JS library with HTML encoding.

Here is a site that details all the Google Maps Iframe Parameters (my example is set to satellite and zoom of 12): http://mapki.com/wiki/Google_Map_Parameters

Question:
Instead of the standard search UI, I'd like to have a top level interactive Google map with flags/ballons for all properties.  Clicking on the flag will bring up basic property info in the standard GMap popup window.  The popup window will also include a link to "Property Details" that links to actual property details page.  Clicking on the flag could also go directly to property details page.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris
